BENJAMIN F. MINK is the President of GTC Consulting based in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated, summa cum laude, from Everest University with a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 2010. Mr. Mink’s consulting practice is focused on helping those members within the pharmaceutical supply chain to meet their state and federal controlled substance regulations. Much of his time is dedicated to helping organizations mitigate risks associated with non-compliance in addition to providing expert witness support services to government entities, healthcare organizations, and insurance companies. Mr. Mink prides himself as being a problem solver and a results oriented regulatory consultant. In 2017, while serving as the Director of Compliance at Miami-Luken, Mr. Mink provided testimony before the United States Congress as a DEA Compliance expert. Furthermore, he was the recipient of the NADDI challenge award presented to him by a DEA agent and colleague on November 20, 2017, for his career dedication to preventing drug abuse, misuse, and diversion. Then on May 1st, 2019, DEA presented Mr. Mink with a certificate of appreciation for his outstanding contributions in the field of drug law enforcement for his expert assistance in a case involving prescription opioid drug diversion.
Since 2015, Mr. Mink has been a dedicated member of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators (NADDI) and the International Healthcare Facility Diversion Association (IHFDA). In May of 2018, his nomination to the NADDI Ohio Chapter Board of Directors was confirmed. Serving on the Board of Directors, Mr. Mink was appointed the highly responsible designation of chapter Treasurer. Prior to joining the private sector, Mr. Mink served with the Alaska State Troopers and as an undercover narcotics detective in central Louisiana. Mr. Mink is a highly regarded public speaker and has been privileged to present at conferences around the nation such as the ACI Controlled Substances Summit in Washington DC.
